In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this free, 8-week virtual summer camp was created for K-8 deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Videos, lesson plans, and PLAYbooks are available in English, American Sign Language (ASL), Spanish, Arabic, and Somali.
My role: Developed and designed the PLAYground website with a focus on accessibility (utilizing Google Chrome’s developer tools), as well as user experience. Provided B-roll for KARE 11‘s video package use. Edited and produced all PLAYground videos for each week’s lessons in English, ASL, Spanish, and Arabic. Managed the production of all English, Spanish, and Arabic lesson plans, as well as external PLAYground communications on Facebook, Twitter, and newsletters.
